Sara Marlowe Hall’s new series Daylight Savings is a visual record of time change, created in the artist’s LA studio as the light started to change and get darker. The resulting works on paper are studies of movement and layering, interplaying art graf and watercolor with layers of charcoal. A reflection of the collective mood as the season shifts toward the cooler months, the drawings are moody and monochrome with a slight pop of color — a hint of moments and memories in the past and to come.
