Katie Moore’s latest collection brings together a series of handbuilt ceramic sculptures that explore form, color, and place. Created using a variety of grogged stoneware bodies, many of the works were made while traveling through Spain and are hand-painted with layers of underglaze and slip, reflecting a process deeply connected to movement and observation.

Drawing inspiration from travels through the South of France, Moore uses collaged photographs and digital sketches as starting points for vibrant surface compositions. Expansive blue skies, vivid flora, and abstracted landscapes inform a palette that unites the collection. Together, the works continue her exploration of open and closed forms, balancing sculptural structure with painterly expression.
